Natalie Peartree to officially represent MPOWERHealth as a member of the 2022 Board of Directors of the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring
ADDISON, Texas (Feb. XX, 2022) — MPOWERHealth, a digital musculoskeletal health organization, has announced that Natalie Peartree Ph.D., senior manager of research, has been elected to the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring 2022 Board of Directors. Her role on the board comes less than a year after Peartree was named head of the Texas-based organization’s research department.
As head of research at MPOWERHealth, Peartree leads the department in developing and launching original research initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes and capturing data that drive efficiency metrics in intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) and beyond. As a member of the board of directors, Peartree will represent MPOWERHealth within the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring and beyond.
“We are thrilled Natalie was elected to the board and will further our opportunities for IONM to help bring insights and expertise to musculoskeletal care across the organization,” said MPOWERHealth CEO and Founder Scott LaRoque.
Peartree, who is based in Phoenix, Arizona, has published 11 peer-reviewed research articles in neuroscience journals and has experience as an academic neuroscience researcher, a fellowship-trained IONM clinician working in the operating room and as an IONM area manager, educator and clinical preceptor. She has served as a clinician in the operating room over the past five years. Her breadth of experience makes her an expert in the following areas:
- How IONM impacts patients’ lives through quality neurophysiologic monitoring focusing on outcome-based data
- Solutions that drive efficiencies and productivity in the operating room
- The value a clinician adds to the operating room team by effectively communicating early identification of compromise to the nervous system
